Kwl that was looking awesome cant wait until I go thank for your tour <3
GREAT detail, as usual!!!! I really got a kick out of the gigantic rear view mirror!!!! Thanks for the overview! :o)
i just went i couple days ago and i have to say it looks amazing (well, maybe the menu was kinda dull, but otherwise) it put you directly into the story and felt like the 60’s (to me) the only thing that bothered me was that flows expanded restaurant is connected to doc’s place. its kinda weird eating in a what is supposed to be a museum. but im sure Disney knows what their doing
It was published on Jun 13th a few days before the official opening. Probably during a morning cast preview, hence lack of people.
Kinda makes you wish Googie architecture would come back into style.
Thumbs up if you realive that the outfits of the Cast Members are the old uniforms from the Monorail Cafe (R.I.P) at the Disneyland Hotel before Downtown Disney opened.
Flo’s Cafe is awesome in Cars Land, but I got One Big Complaint with the menu. What kind of 50’s Cafe Diner doesn’t serve Cheese Burgers, Fries, Hot Dogs, Chicken Nuggets, Chocolate Shakes, etc….. I mean seriously!? Its suppose to be a Cafe on route 66, and they don’t serve any of theres foods, thats really stupid, might as well not even have food there.
*Realize*
what people say about the menu its true, me and my girlfriend went the other day saw that the money was basically just turkey dinners, and other tv dinner style meals and went to the mexican plaza place. they need to change the menu. burgers, mac and cheese, malts, and grilled cheese are a must. they need to expand the menu. nice environment (the best part if you ask me), but head someone else to eat if you want variety.
ya i no right
cool view of the mountains from inside the Cafe.
I’m surprised that there’s no burgers on the menu
